The apartment has 6 flats and it is 500m, 0.3miles (5 min walk) away from the beech which is famous with its Caretta sea turtles. The apartment has the view of the mountains, which will allow you to have a peaceful breakfast in the balcony. My parents live in one of the flats, and my father, a retired teacher, looks after the garden and grows at least 10 different types of fruits and 7 different types of veg which you can use to cook your dinner in your own large modern kitchen. The flats have air-conditioning, also you will find that having the mountains around, no matter how high the temperatures you will enjoy the pleasant cool breeze. Anamur is not a famous tourist resort as the city always been keen to protect the rare sea turtles. Hence you will find the long clean beach is not over crowded. Anamur is hassle free of tourist grabbing salesman (You ll know what I mean if you ve been to places like Bodrum or Alanya), also you wont be charged tourist prices, which unfortunately is the case in most Turkish resorts. So you can sit in a bar or restaurant and enjoy your coffee or bear with local prices. You will be flexible with the range of activities, and we will be happy to guide you when you need. To summaries a bit about Anamur, it is surrounded with nature and history. On the west side of Anamur there is the a vast Roman settlement (Anemurium ). If you like a nice long walk on the beach you could walk there, or 5 min drive. You could even hire a boat all to your self which would take you there, and you could organize your own tour for little cost in Lira’s, instead of Euros. On the east side there is the castle, and the pine forest by the beach where you could spend and afternoon enjoying a barbeque, or let the restaurant prepare your kebabs while you swim. On the north side of the city there is the cold river called the Dragon, where it joins the sea in Anamur, near the harbor is a great place to fish trout. You could also go close to where the river is born in the mountains, where a fish farm is situated on the skirt of a mountain next to the river. The fish farm (Sevgi Picnic) has been developed over the last 10 years to offer customer various quality services. You can choose your fish from one of the pools to either cook it yourself or let restaurant to prepare it for you while you swim in the river. Sevgi picnic is one of the beauty spots that have not been discovered by many foreign or Turkish holiday makers.
