Salford, Cambridge and Brough Are Property Hotspots For Sellers and Landlords

Much of the focus is on London’s booming property market, but opportunistic sellers and landlords are making the most of the brand new property hotspots springing up in Cambridge, Salford and Brough. I Am The Agent, one of the country’s leading online estate agencies, keeps track of all of the latest property trends, and is encouraging all those selling in these regions to make as much profit as possible by minimising the amount they spend on agencies and middlemen.

Property prices in Salford have risen by 12% since the start of the year, according to leading property portal Zoopla - a growth rate that has eclipsed even the capital. Properties now sell for an average £138,619, up £14,874 from the turn of the year. Cambridge is now the fastest-selling location for property in the UK, with the average house being marked as sold within just 27 days of being listed on the market. Brough in Yorkshire has also seen strong growth over the last six months, with property prices rising by 11.9%, proving once and for all that the price growths are not just limited to the south east of the country.

Salford’s growing Media City complex around Salford Quays is being hailed as the reason for the property boom in this region, while Cambridge’s popularity is being put down to the addition of a new railway station for the city, which will make it a more viable prospect for commuters. Brough was already an attractive option for buyers, with great links to Manchester, Leeds and London – a rare proposition for a small coastal town with fantastic countryside views.

I Am The Agent allows those selling a property in these locations to maximise the amount of profit that they make on a sale, by cutting out the expensive fees and commission rates that many traditional estate agencies charge. Sellers simply pay a fixed price to sell a property, and will soon see their property listed on national portals that receive millions of hits every month, giving them the exposure they need to sell their property without affecting the profit they’ll make from any potential sale.

Rebecca Peach, Founder and Director of I Am The Agent, says, “We’re now seeing property hotspots spring up all over the UK, not just in the capital, and those selling property in these regions are benefitting hugely from the housing boom. We want to make sure that people selling property all over the country are not caught out by agency fees eating into their profits. Our fixed-fee service has no hidden charges or concealed costs, so our clients can sell their properties quickly and efficiently, without worrying that they’ll be stung for commission or a hidden fee.”

I Am The Agent advertises properties using all of the UK’s largest property portals to ensure a quick sale for clients, with maximum exposure for a very reasonable investment – the fixed-fee packages start at just £299 all-inclusive. This package includes everything you could ever need to sell your property, even down to the ‘For Sale’ board! I Am The Agent do all of the legwork when it comes to things like arranging valuations, but clients have total control over their property listing, viewings and correspondence with potential buyers, putting them in the driving seat for the entire selling process.

This is great news for the residents of Salford, Cambridge, Brough and countless other locations across the country that are experiencing mini property booms – I Am The Agent offers a fixed-fee service to maximise the profit and minimise the fuss.
