Can I refresh my Rightmove or Zoopla listing?
I am afraid this is not possible for us to push or manipulate the position of your listing as the property portals control this. Obviously everyone wants to be at the top and in the focus of every potential seller and buyer.
However here are the only ways to get a refreshed listing on Rightmove: -
For sales and lettings, a 2% reduction in your rental or sales price. eg. previously marketed at £1000 reduce it by £20, so £980 and this will in turn sends out alerts/email notification to registered users of the price bracket and it also goes to the top of the area search but be aware as new properties come on it will go down the list. Given the portal popularity and if you property is in a popular area for sales and lettings you may not be at the top for long.
To completely get a new listing you need be completely off line with any estate agent (as your address is linked) for sales: 14 weeks (3.5 months) and lettings 14 days (2 weeks).
If you would like to stand out from the crowd why not upgrade to a premium listing which allow a green border and more photos, this remains on the summary page for the life of the listing. More information here on Rightmove premium listing.
Alternatively the featured Rightmove listing is a great way to push your listing and get those enquiries tumbling in. this is where your property remains at the top of the listing for 1 week when any potential buyer or tenant searches your area. Here is more information on Rightmove Featured listings.
Alternatively, we would suggest moving the lead images, enhancing the description and short summary to update the look of your listing.
Please note I Am The Agent can't guarantee any of the above and it may be subject to change but as of 01.07.2020 this information was correct.
